Located over the Brazos River in Young and Palo Pinto counties. It's west of Fort Worthy of Texas close to Texas Freeway sixteen. The lake location is seventeen,620 acres which has a greatest depth of a hundred forty five feet. It was impounded in 1941 which is managed by the Brazos River Authority.
